Danny Robert Hall, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024. Born Sept. 24, 1953, in Huntsville, Ala., Danny grew up dreaming of being a cowboy and loving country-western music.

As a young man, he joined the Army and was stationed in Fort Hood, Tex. He left the Army as a Specialist 4, the highest rank for junior enlisted recruits, and went on to work for many years as a planner and estimator for Redstone Arsenal. One of Dan's greatest loves was music; his favorite musicians being Billy Joe Shaver, Willie Nelson, and the band Alabama. He spent many years as a motorcycle enthusiast, taking long trips out West. He also found great joy in cheering on the University of Alabama and attended many games with his brother and nieces. Danny was a longtime member of Elon Church of Christ and dearly loved its many members who were like family.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, William Jennings "WJ" Hall, and his mother, Florene Tabor Hall; his grandparents, Robert Eli Hall and Gertrude Cole Hall, as well as Samuel Grady Tabor and Mary Hill Tabor.

He is survived by his brother, Billy Hall (wife, Tammy Hall); nieces Carrie Baker, Samantha Hall Hurst (husband, Chris Hurst) and Leasa Hall (husband, Paul Bucklin); great-nieces Averett Hurst & Madeline Hurst; and great-nephew, Ryan Potter.

Visitation and services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Elon Church of Christ. The church address is 4021 Hobbs Island Rd, Owens Crossroads, Ala. 35763. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-12 noon, with services following directly after at noon.
