Dr. Satyavardhana Rao Yerubandi of Huntsville, Alabama, a general surgeon who practiced for over 50 years, including 32 years in Huntsville, passed away on March 30, 2020, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 73.

Dr. Yerubandi is survived by his wife Lakshmi, sons Vijay (Harshini) and Kishan, grandsons Arjun and Vikram.

Since gatherings are currently unsafe, the funeral will be for immediate family only, but a memorial service celebrating his life may be held at a later date.
