Kimberly Elise Haynes of Huntsville, AL went to be with Jesus Thursday, December 19, 2024. A beautiful mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Kim is survived by her daughter, Emily Kathryn Haynes, parents Kathy and Tim Haynes, grandmother Faye Scott, her sister Caroline (Tyler) Dowland, nieces Charlie and Isabel Dowland and Gracie Byrd, and nephew Ty Byrd. She was preceded in death by her sister Katie Byrd and grandparents E.R. Jones, Rudolph and Nell Haynes. She was loved by so many people in the community, her family and friends all over the Southeast.

Kim was a graduate of Madison County High School and Auburn University. WAR EAGLE! She was an educator for over 20 years in Florida & Alabama. She has served so many children and passed on her love of reading and education.

Kim loved Jesus and being a wonderful mother to her daughter, most of all.  She believed in the power of education and giving back to her community. It was an honor to know her and to be loved by her. She was truly the hands and feet of Jesus.

Psalm 91:4 "He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge."

Visitation and the memorial service will be held at Berry Hill Funeral Home on December 28, 2024. Visitation will be from 2 – 4 PM and the memorial service following at 4 PM.

In lieu of flowers , a scholarship fund is in the process of being set up for Emily Kathryn Haynes.
