Lori Dobbs Helton, 60, passed away November 6th, 2021 at her home in Hazel Green after her battle with ALS.

She was born on July 8, 1961, in Florida to Cecil and Jewell Dobbs. She was a 1979 graduate of Lee High School where she was a member of the Dance Team and Delta Debs.

She married her high school sweetheart, Gary Helton, on November 8, 1980. She worked as office manager at State Farm for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family but most of all, being Yaya to her grandsons.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; her sons, Ray (Heather) Helton, Nick Helton; her grandsons, Beckham and Graham Helton; and many siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Lori touched are invited from 4:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10th at Berryhill Funeral Home to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, to chat.
