It is with great sadness that the family of Vera Rene Finley announce her passing on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the age of 58.

Rene was born at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL on June 06, 1966. She lived in the Madison County area her whole life. Rene enjoyed life by spending time with her family and friends, as well as attending church on Sundays.

Rene will be greatly missed by her daughter, Liania Kimbrough; granddaughters, Ashley and Summer Kimbrough; great-granddaughter, Dakoda Holman; sisters, Carolyn Harris, Billie Bump, Brenda Jemison, and Teresa Finley; brothers, William Tripp, and Ronald (Ronnie) Finley; and numerous other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William (Pete) and Patsy (Pat) Finley; as well as her son, Wayne Kimbrough.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, with a service immediately following at 2:00 PM. Burial will be taking place at Gatlin Cemetery (28574 State Line Rd., Ardmore, AL 35739).
