Adrian Coyet
Jeter
September 5, 1966 – May 29, 2026
Adrian Coyet Jeter, a devoted family man and passionate sports enthusiast, passed away on May 29, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama. Born on September 5, 1966, in West Virginia, Adrian's life was marked by his love for sports, particularly wrestling, and his unwavering support for the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Chicago Bears.
Throughout his life, Adrian was a figure of strength and passion, both in his personal interests and in the way he nurtured his family. He is deeply mourned by his loving wife, Dawn Jeter, who stood by his side through life's many seasons. Together, they raised a remarkable family that includes his children: Adrian Jeter, Jr., Clarissa Jeter (Mark), Tyrell Jeter, Gage Watts, and PJ Jeter. Adrian’s blended family enriched his life further, with step-children Cody Davenport (Kari) and Andrew Davenport (Jessica) carrying forward the close bonds he cherished.
Adrian’s legacy extends beyond his immediate family to his siblings, Angela Jeter and Andrew Jeter (Michelle), who shared countless memories and family milestones. He was also a proud grandfather to Jacquelynn Richmond, Wyatt Richmond, Wyatt Workman-Gray, Kinsley Davenport, and Addi Davenport, whose lives he joyfully watched grow and flourish.
His life was also celebrated by extended family, including three nephews and five nieces who fondly remember his warmth and spirited presence. While his parents, Andrew and Teresa Jeter, preceded him in death, Adrian’s memory lives vibrantly among those who knew and loved him.
Adrian’s enthusiasm for life, his commitment to his family, and his passionate spirit have left an indelible mark on all who have had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who called him husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.
A private celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
