Alanda Lee Sherrill Harding was born May 31, 1944 and passed away on April 25, 2026 at her home in Scottsboro, Alabama surrounded by her loving family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Ovalee and Leon Sherrill and grandson Adam Hall. 

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Verlon Harding; daughter, Cynthia Rowe (Keith), daughter Michelle Hall (Tommy); and two grandsons, Nathan Goodwin and Chase Hall; and fur baby, Hannah. 

Alanda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Known for her witty sense of humor, abundant kindness and love of animals, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We will continue to carry her in our hearts, knowing she is now in God‘s hands in Heaven.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2nd, from 3:15 - 4:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, with a memorial service immediately following.
