Alberto "Al" Rivas, 57 of Huntsville, AL, went to be with his Lord on October 17th. He was born to Alberto Rivas and Lydia Icarragorri Rivas, who reside in Queens, NY. He graduated high school from St. Francis of Queens and attended Queens College of NY. He served in Desert Storm with the Red Horse Squadron in the US Airforce. He worked at Redstone Arsenal for Northwind construction company. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Katie; and his beloved daughter, Alexis, 17; his parents, Alberto & Lydia Rivas; his brother, Alex (Ana) Rivas; niece, Gina, of NYC.; his godson, Allessio Campoli; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers, and a host of friends.

Because of the Covid-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
