Alvin Joe Eidson's Obituary
Alvin Joe Eidson, 64, of New Market, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023.
He was a graduate of theUniversity of Alabama in Huntsville and a retired engineer from Marshall Space Flight Center, where he
enjoyed being on the test site preparing for the next launch. He loved the outdoors, fishing, Alabama football and woodworking. A devoted and beloved father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, he will be deeply missed.
Alvin is survived by his daughter, Erica Trapp; granddaughters, Kayla, Emma and Hannah; mother, Marion Eidson; stepfather, Reese Eidson; brothers, Samuel Eidson, Walter Eidson, Cecil Eidson; and sister, Cherise Eidson Rembert.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Arlen Eidson.
