Amanda Sue Mason (née Clark), 47, passed away on March 17, 2025, in
Huntsville, Alabama.
Born on September 24, 1977, in Huntsville, Amanda spent her life deeply
devoted to her family and career. She was a loving mother who took
immense pride in her children's accomplishments and cherished every
moment with her loved ones. Her unwavering strength and determination
made her an inspiration to many.
Amanda dedicated a little over a decade of her professional life as a Senior
Technician at Garver, an employee-owned engineering, planning, and
environmental services firm. Throughout her tenure, she built lasting
friendships with colleagues who became like family. Her commitment to
excellence and camaraderie left a lasting impact on those she worked with.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Mason Jr.; her sons, Jerry "Lane"
Mason and Levi Jeremiah Mason; her mother, Wanda Sue Clark; her mother-
in-law, Judith Mae Mason; her sister, Amy Mae Pope (NaPaul Pope); her
sisters-in-law, Dorcas "Lagatha" Nutt (Dale Nutt) and Loretta Michelle Jones
(John Thomas); and her nieces and nephews: Josh Jones, Kelsey Jones, Lily
Pope, and Hatton Pope. She was preceded in death by her father, William
"Tiny" Glenn Clark; her father-in-law, Jerry "Wayne" Mason Sr.; and her
nephew, Aaron Johnson.
A visitation will be held on March 24, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at
Berryhill Funeral Home, located at 2305 N Memorial Pkwy in Huntsville. A
service will follow at the same location from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, officiated by
Dr. Mike Clark.
Amanda's love for her family was boundless, and she will be remembered for
the warmth and strength she brought into their lives. May her memory bring
comfort to all who knew and loved her.
