Adair Seeman passed away May 09, 2025. Adair was born on Fort Meade Army Base in Anne Arundel County, MD but spent the last 30 years in Madison, AL. She touched the lives of many being involved in many organizations within the community. Adair was a member of Asbury Church for 24 years, Walk to Emmaus, P.E.O., many women's groups and enjoyed traveling with her late husband and daughter around the world. She was a disciple, a mentor, a host, a friend and loved to spend time with her family.
Adair married Richard Seeman in 1970. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Stout Cum Laude with a B.S. in Banking and Finance. Adair worked for several companies including SSS Limited in Chicago, Illinois and Norand Corporation in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After she and Richard became parents, Adair enjoyed being able to raise their daughter, Leigh. Adair loved to be active whether it was volunteering in the local schools, going to her local water aerobics class, playing Bunco, volunteering at Asbury, attending P.E.O. events or traveling with her friends and family. She was ambitious and generous to anyone and everyone she came across.
Adair is survived by her daughter Leigh Leiner (JT); nephews; cousins; and friends.
Adair is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Seeman; her parents Leo B. Samdahl (Martha Virgina Walker); brothers Walker Samdahl and Lee Samdahl; and grandparents.
The family would like to thank the staff at CCI, Huntsville Hospital, and Berryhill Funeral Home for their compassionate support and treatment during Adair's 20+ year battle with cancer.
Visitation for Mrs. Seeman will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at Asbury Church in Madison, Alabama, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm with a Memorial Service immediately following at 1:00 pm with Alan Weatherly officiating.
