Anna Fay (Stephenson) Guest was born November 3, 1925 the ninth child of John Tom and Velma Stephenson in Bywy community near Ackerman, Mississippi. Fay was just a baby when her father died of pneumonia.  Her mother's strong Christian faith greatly impacted Fay and she accepted Christ at an early age and became active in the Bywy Presbyterian Church. Living through the Great Depression and two World Wars left a lifelong impression on her.

After graduating from Ackerman High School she attended Wood Jr. College.  She enrolled at the University of Alabama in 1945 where she met and later married Fred E. Guest on September 19, 1948 just a few months after they both graduated from the university.  She worked for the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce from 1948-1949 until they moved to Montgomery, AL where Fred was transferred by GMAC.  They joined and were active members of Ridgecrest Baptist Church where Fay worked in the nursery, taught children in Sunday School, was a GA Leader and WMU member.  Montgomery remained their home until 2006 when they moved to Huntsville.  After moving to Huntsville Fay joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Fay enjoyed sewing, working in the yard, mothering and spending time with her family.  On Wednesday, November 21, Fay was welcomed home to heaven.  She is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Carissa Faith Fine in 1983, her son Stephen  in 1984 and her husband Fred in 2007 and also preceded in death by all eight of her siblings.  She is survived by her daughters – Sharon Guest Weeks (David) of Huntsville, Alabama and Melanie Guest Fine (Greg) of Higginsville, Misouri.  In addition, she is survived by seven grandchildren – Rebekah Gerloff (Josh), Stephen Weeks, Jonathan Weeks, Matt Fine (Kimberly), Emily Fine, Jessica Knightly (Paul) and Mark Fine.  She is also survived by two great-grandchildren – Rileigh Weeks and Asher Fine.

The funeral service will be Saturday, November 24 at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 am at the Berryhill Funeral Home located at 2305 N. Memorial Parkway in Huntsville.
