Obituary

Annie Sue Isbell Campbell, daughter of Will Isbell and Fannie Jane Toney Isbell, was born February 18, 1918 in Bell Factory, Alabama. She graduated from Riverton High School in 1935. Sue was a charter member of Southside Baptist Church where she was a member until Southside became Rivertree. She, then, joined Westlawn Baptist Church where George & Glenda are members.

Sue married Robert Lee Campbell in 1940. They had two children, Glenda & Gary, who were both born in California where Robert was in the Army Air Corps. When Robert got out of the Army, they returned to Huntsville where they opened a grocery store (C&M Cash Store). She helped in the grocery store until they sold it in 1982.

Sue's  main interest in life was her church, Bible study, gardening, ceramics and being a blessing to family and friends. She was a fine Christian lady who loved the Lord with all her heart. Every day she lived was a day lived for Christ. Her faith was unshakable, her spirit full of joy, and her stories always came with a side of wisdom and laughter. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, a woman full of laughter good stories, and a deep love for her family and her Lord and Savior.

Sue leaves those who will miss her - daughter Glenda (George) Humphrey; son Gary Campbell; sister-in-law Dot Isbell; grandchildren: Cindy (Steve) Perry, Connie (David) Barnett, Steve (Kim) Humphrey, Lynn Campbell, Kim (Billy) Baker, and Sherry Lackey; eight great-grandchildren; Ethan (Christina), Justin (Joanna), Alaina (Tyler), Jennifer (Ethan), Adam, Chelsey (Josh), Jordan, and Zac and eight great-great-grandchildren.
