Anthony
Jackson
May 18, 1974 — Sep 25, 2026
Huntsville
Anthony Jackson, 52, passed away on September 25, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved so deeply.
Anthony was a devoted husband and father, loving son, brother, and uncle, loyal friend, mechanical engineer, and proud Florida A&M University graduate. A true Taurus, Anthony appreciated the good things in life: delicious food, luxurious bath products, delightful scents, Retro Jordan 3s, plush blankets, old-school hip-hop, quality headphones, and IMAX movies. And, of course, there was his legendary beard.
Anthony was equally proud of where he came from—Southeast Washington, D.C.—and of attending Dunbar High School. He was intelligent, curious, funny, full of wonderfully useless trivia, and completely comfortable being himself. That authenticity extended to others. Anthony listened without judgment, made strangers into friends, and gave people room to be exactly who they were.
Above all, Anthony loved his three children with intention. He showed up every time. From Pre-K parties to college graduation, Anthony was there for every event, every milestone, and all the moments in between.
For 26 years, Anthony shared a beautiful life with his wife, Lei, filled with laughter, inside jokes, kitchen dance parties, movie premieres, coffee dates, road trips, 90s love songs, and plenty of smooching.
Cancer changed Anthony’s final chapter, but it never defined his story. He remained faithful, joyful, funny, and deeply present. He was baptized in 2026 at The Becoming Church and had been building a meaningful and personal relationship with God. That gave him peace in every circumstance he faced.
Anthony loved his family BIG, and he was loved just as big in return.
He showed up. He loved well. And he will be deeply missed.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jackson Sr., and his mother-in-law, Loretta Love.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lei; his children, Amiia, Amel, Avery, and Israel; his mother, Clara Bell; his stepmother, Dianne Jackson; his brother, Rob; his nephew, Elias; his crazy dogs, Oscar, Nago, and Trudie; and a loving circle of extended family and friends.
