Barbara Ellen Hoynes Cardwell, 88, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026.  She was a loving wife of the late Joe Cardwell, loving mother of Kevin, Ruth, Barbara, Karen, and Ronald, loving grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother to 18.  Also, she was a loving fur grandmother to Harley and Bella. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Estelle Hoynes, sons, Patrick and Lawrence and eight siblings.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 20th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Berryhill Funeral Home, followed by service at 11:00.  Rev. Tim Cole will be officiating.
