Barbara House Holladay, a beloved wife, mother and nana, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday May 4, 2025.

She was born September 26, 1947 in Athens, Alabama to Edward and Rachel House. She graduated from Athens High School and continued her education at Athens State University.

She retired as a Logistics Management Specialist, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command after 35 years of loyal service.

She is survived by her children, Christy Bishop (Randy), Tim Holladay (Brandey); grandchildren, Jacob Harvey (Sarah),  Abi, Bristol and RJ; great-grandchildren, Laynee, Talon and Maverick; sister, Carolyn House Rountree (Jim); many loving nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Maggie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Stanley Holladay, of 49 years; and her parents, Ed and Rachel House.

She loved being Nana to all of her grandchildren. She loved the times when the family was all together for holidays and birthdays.

Visitation for Barbara will be on Friday, May 9th from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Berryhill Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am with Carl Evans officiating. Graveside service will be Friday at 1:30 pm at Friendship Cemetery in Danville.
