Obituary

Benjamin Albert Nothstine, 34, of Harvest, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023.

Ben was truly one-of-a-kind. From a child attending the Renaissance Festival in full regalia including wooden sword and shield, to an adult with an affinity for Warhammer and Vikings culture. He was quirky, silly, and generous. Ben was loved by so many people and loved them back fiercely; but his greatest love of all was for his wife, Elyse, and their beautiful daughter, Charlotte Mae. Ben's adoration for them was immeasurable.

He proudly served in the United States Army for 4 years, and his accomplishments were many; but Ben's proudest moment was the day Charlie was born. He felt that being her Dada was his greatest accomplishment in life, and he showed that to Elyse and Charlie each and every day. He sang Charlie a special song every morning when she woke up. Ben was constantly dancing with her all around the house. Every day, he would bring her out to "their" tree, which became one of their favorite things to do.

Ben was so many things. He was kind and gracious. The funniest person you would ever meet. Ben was always there to help anyone who asked. Most importantly, he was so full of love. The world will never be the same without him.

He is survived by his wife and daughter, Elyse and Charlotte Nothstine; mother, Pamela Evans; father, Mark Nothstine (Barbara); sisters, Haley and Katie Nothstine; grandmother, Charla Nothstine; and everyone else who Ben loved and who loved him.

Ben is preceded in death by his stepfather, Tally Evans; his grandfather, Albert Hodge; his grandmother, Glenda Hodge; his grandfather, Benjamin Nothstine.

A memorial service for family and close friends will be held at a later date.

The family has asked to please refrain from inquiring about Ben's passing.
