Bessie Sisk Duke, 73, of Albertville, passed into the arms of our Lord on August 24, 2026.

Bessie is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughter, Jeanette Nicole (Chad); granddaughter, Kendra; great-grandson, Waylon; and son, Michael.

Bessie was born to Robert and Myrtle Sisk and lived in Gurley, AL most of her life.  She was one of fourteen children born to Robert and Myrtle. Bessie loved and enjoyed her large and extended family.

Bessie worked for many years at Piggly Wiggly in Gurley and enjoyed helping customers and she never met a stranger.  She was loved by everyone that entered her life. Bessie enjoyed the times that her and Ronald spent seeing the countryside from their trike  She was a cat lover and enjoyed the times she spent with her neighbors and friends in Albertville.

Bessie will be missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.

Visitation will be Friday, August 28th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, followed by the service at 2:00 with Rev. Wesley Slaton officiating.  Burial will be at Gurley Cemetery.
