Betty Jones Dalton, 85, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Monday, April 07, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rev. Hoyt Dalton; granddaughter, Amy Dalton; great-granddaughter, Jolie McAllister; daughter-in-law, Pauline Moshier Dalton; brother, Jimmy Ned Jones; sister, Gail Jones Duvall; parents, Marvin and Mamie Jones; brother-in-law, Neil Duvall; along with her most precious pet, Charlie.

She is survived by her sons, Steve and Stan Dalton; one grandson, Mitch Dalton; two granddaughters, DeAnna West and Sarah Crawford; and three great-grandsons, Dalton West, Noah West, and Simon Dalton.

Betty was employed by the Madison County Board of Education in 1974, and retired from Buckhorn High School in 1996 as a secretary/bookkeeper.

After retiring from Buckhorn, she worked for Kelly Temporary Services for about 12 years. Through them, she was employed full-time by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce and ITT Corporation.

A visitation will be held for Mrs. Dalton on Friday, April 11th, from 9:30-11:00 A.M. at Berryhill Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow, officiated by Rev. William Cantrell. Burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery.
