Beverly Ann Hamley Jones passed away Tuesday March 18, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was 65 years old.

A resident of Madison and Limestone Counties since she was a young child, she has lived the last 14 years in the Harvest Community. She was a 1977 Graduate of Bob Jones High School, something she never let her chosen sister and best friend, Denise Waggoner, a Sparkman High School Graduate never forget.

Beverly is survived by her sister, Lisa Acklin, chosen sister, Denise Waggoner (Jerry), nieces Alicia Kimbrough (Bubba), Katherine D'Amato (Chase), nephew Stephen Smiley (Tonya), Aunt, Carol Hamley-Graham, God-Daughter, Renai Waggoner, and many great and great great nieces and nephews and cousins.She is also survived by special friends Jeanie Clark and Cindy Murphy, and her beloved Shih Tzu, Taz.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Jean Hamley, and niece, Celetia Smiley.

Beverly loved children, and not having any of her own, was deeply involved the lives of her friend's and family's children. She was an avid reader and often could be seen working on a craft project or working jigsaw puzzles. With her big heart and gentile spirit, she will be missed by all who loved her.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
