IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bill Carrier
Latham, Jr.
July 7, 1952 – May 20, 2025
Bill (Sonny) C. Latham Jr., 72, of Harvest passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
Bill was a U.S. Navy veteran and served tours of duty on Midway Island and in California. He received his degree in Accounting from UAH and was employed by various local companies.
An avid motorcyclist, he spent many hours traveling and sightseeing around the country. After he retired, he spent much of his time customizing his large collection of bicycles and riding them on the local bike trails while keeping a log of the thousands of miles traveled.
Bill was very artistic and had a natural talent for designing and building custom outdoor projects for his home. Even as his health was compromised, he continued to single handedly complete many amazing projects.
Surrounded by four sisters and his wife, Bill was the epitome of patience and tolerance on our shared vacations and shopping excursions that lasted days. He chauffeured and chaperoned us with his amiable presence that left us with memories of his kindness and dedication to his family.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pamela Latham; three sisters: Camille Sirmon and Belinda Latham of Mobile and Tracey Creekmore (Ken) of Toney; one niece and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sheryl Latham.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his family.
A private memorial service will be held for his family.
