Billie Ruth Morris, 88, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025.

She was born May 16, 1936 to John and Adelle Hawk in Barton, Alabama. She graduated from S. R. Butler High School in Huntsville in 1954. She married Warren Morris in 1955, and they were married for 67 years until his death in 2023.  She worked many years for the State of Alabama and at Redstone Arsenal in Program Administration. She was active at Highlands Baptist Church, and later Winchester Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and eating out.

She is preceded in death by her husband Warren, her parents, and sister Margaret Puckett.

She is survived by her daughters Patricia Rose (Fred) and Sandra Morris, granddaughters Cheryl Lewis (Daniel) and Jessica Rose, and great-granddaughters, Sydney and Samantha Lewis.

A graveside service for Mrs. Morris will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Bro. Hal Howard officiating.
