Billy Joe Brewer, 73, passed away in his home on July 15th 2026 at 4:45 am from complication of Alzheimer's. He was surrounded by his family and friends during his final days. 

Preceded in death by his father Joe Brewer, mother Louise Brewer, sister Betty Perry, nephew Richard Perry and brother in law Donald Perry.

Survivors include wife, Pamela Brewer, two daughters, Nikki/Brandon Curnel, Daynie/Joey Roberthon, five grandchildren, Will, Lainey/Whitney, Julia, Wyatt and Josey, and two nieces Jennifer Perry/Tina, and Bridget Perry/Aaron.

Billy went to work at Dunlop Tire in 1975 . He was elected as the President of United Steelworkers Local 915, and served as President until 2004 when he was appointed as a District 9 Staff Representative of the United Steelworkers International Union. Billy negotiated contracts for and represented worker in many different industries until his retirement in 2017.
