Obituary

Bob E. Stokes, 71, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2022 in Huntsville, AL.

He was a self-employed carpenter who recently retired after many years of bringing joy and knowledge to every job site. Bob loved watching Alabama football and Atlanta Braves baseball. He was a very true friend to many and loved his family very much.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy Stokes; sons, Shaun and Justin Stokes; mother, Dorothy Hurtig; brother, Bill Stokes, and sisters, Cindy Ishee and Debbie O'Malley (Ed) and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Dale Hurtig.
The family will receive friends at Berryhill Funeral Home on Thursday, September 1,2022 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will follow with Rev. Steve Hall officiating.
