Bobbi Jean Hickman Tennyson, age 51, passed away at her residence in Huntsville, Alabama on January 13, 2026.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Berryhill Funeral Home and Crematory.

Bobbi was preceded in death by her father, Gary Dale Hickman; her brothers, Mike and Mark Hickman; and her grandparents Tom Nat and Susie Mildred Dawson.

She is survived by her mother, Virginia; step-father Mel York; her son, Justin Tennyson,  and extended family.

Bobbi grew up in Lacey's Springs, Alabama and had many friends and family who loved and supported her in the challenges that she bravely faced.  She was known for her lively spirit, friendly nature, and the way her presence could light up a room.

Those who shared life's adventures with Bobbi remember her infectious smile, her laughter, and the joy she brought to so many good times.  She leaves behind many memories among those who knew her.

Friends wishing to honor her may make donations to the Downtown Rescue Mission or the Cancer Society.
