Rev. Bobby Jean Culver, 82, of Hazel Green, AL, passed away on Thursday, May 09, 2024.

He is preceded by his wife of 40 years, Lue Avans; parents, Homer and Francis Culver; and brother, William Culver.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Culver; daughters, Davona Lockard (Michael) and Phyllis Jones (Mark); ; grandchild, Amanda Lockard; great-grandchild, James Lockard; bonus daughter, Lisa Hill (Teddy) bonus sons, Stanley Stinett (Denita), Mark Stinett (Valerie) and Chris Stinett (Nichole); brothers, Ray Culver (Dena) and Nicky Culver (Edith); sister, Lorenne Houston (Loyd); along with 14 bonus grandchildren and 16 bonus great grandchildren.

Rev. Culver served as the preacher for Pleasant Oak Holiness Church in Hazel Green since 1986.

Visitation will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on Friday, May 10, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. The service will take place the following day at Berryhill Funeral Home, Saturday, May 11, beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Ricky Hyatt and Bro. Wayne Denson officiating. Burial will take place at Hytop Cemetery.
