Brenda Gail Holland, 72, of Athens, formerly of Big Cove, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

Mrs. Holland was a life-long member of the Big Cove Holiness Church and a native of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.

She is survived by her sons, Delmer Holland (Carla) and Sean Holland (Cindy); daughter, April Hayes (Roger); brother, Lloyd Pinkerton (Diane); grandchildren, Kristina Steagall (Jeremy), Delana Holland, Aaron Jones, Alisha Holland, Johnathan Holland, Grant Clark, Garrett Hayes, and Hattie Hayes; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded by her husband of 30 years, Bobby Earl Holland; parents, Delmer and Selena Pinkerton; sisters, Vera Hunter, Dianna Beavers, Regina Robbins, Lorene Kent, Shirley Hall, and Juanita Lamb; and brothers, Alfred Pinkerton, David Pinkerton, Bernard Pinkerton, and Wendell Pinkerton.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday, December 19th, from 5:00-8:00PM, and Wednesday, December 20th, from 9:00-11:00AM at Big Cove Holiness Church. Service will follow at 11:00AM on Wednesday. Interment will take place at Green Valley Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads, AL. Rev. Mark Warren, Bro. Larry Pinkerton, and Rev. Joe Ventress will be officiating.
