IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda D.
Mcgaha
October 20, 1943 – June 27, 2025
Brenda McGaha, 81, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on October 20, 1943, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to William Clyde Lewter and Mildred Virginia Hobbs. Throughout her life, she carried with her the values of family, kindness, and resolving strength.
Brenda found her soulmate, Cliff McGaha, and they were married on May 28, 1984, building a life together filled with love, laughter, and deep companionship.
Brenda found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time on her computer watching videos, listening to music, and playing games, enjoyed card games with family and friends, and treasured every moment of "Nana time" with her grandchildren. Her firm directness and fantastic sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Peggy Drake, and her brother Jimmy Lewter.
Brenda is survived by her devoted husband Cliff and beloved children: Mitzi (Donnie) Casebolt of Foley, AL; Felicia (Greg) Lambert of Athens, AL; Brad (Robin) Wilson of Iowa City, IA; Donna Moore of Huntsville, AL; Patty Johnson of Albertville, AL; Suzy Noland of New Hope, AL; and Tammy Dudley of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by her sister, Cathy (Rick) Jones of Huntsville, AL; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held at Berry Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, with the funeral service immediately at 2:00 pm with Rev. Tim Cole. A private burial with family will take place afterward at Huntsville Memorial Gardens.
Brenda's life was filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
