Brenda Diane Wix Tucker, age 78, peacefully passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was surrounded by love in her final days.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby W. Tucker; son Barry W. Tucker; parents Ithel and Melba Wix, in-laws William and Ada Tucker; and by brother-in-law Jerry Tucker.

She is survived by her daughter Karen (Mike) Martin; sister Patsy (Jim) Foust; sisters-in-law Faye Kilgore and Mary Sue Sanford; nephews Gerald Tucker and Randall (Lisa) Tucker;  great-nieces Maddie Tucker, Livvie Tucker, and Georgia Tucker; niece Kandi (Bain) Adams; great- nieces Savannah (Charlie) Klopfer and Mary Barnett; great-great-nephew Baby Charlie Klopfer and bonus great-nephew Riley Adams.

She also leaves behind an enormous group of young and getting older people that she considered her "kids." Three generations worth that meant everything in the world to her.

The family would also like to thank the wonderful help and support from the people of Hospice of North Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00, with Johnathan Young officiating. Pallbearers will be Charlie Klopfer, Bain Adams, Riley Adams, Charles Polston, Michael Speegle and Ian Rymer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Baby Charlie and Charlie Polston. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
