Brittany Lynn Bertin, 33 , died unexpectedly July 17, 2022 in Madison, Alabama.

She was born November 24, 1988 in North Alabama, the daughter of Kevin Bertin and Dana Helms Minor. She lived in Ardmore most of her life.  She attended Sparkman High School.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, a loved daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, aunt and friend.  She was a selfless person who would put everyone ahead of herself, going out of her way to make others happy.  She treated everyone she met like family, and always manged to light up a room.  Brittany loved recreating and decorating any and every thing, turning every space she touched into a home.  Her daughter was the center of her world.  You could always catch her talking about how much she loved her, to friends and strangers.  She will be dearly missed.

Brittany was preceded in death by her grandparents, Barbara Jean Mitchell Minor Miller and Henry Miller and one cousin, Brad Michael Minor.

She is survived by her daughter Alyssa Marie Colwell; her mother, Dana Minor Helms (Jerry); her father, Kevin Bertin; her sister, Stephanie Minor; Her brothers, Kevin JJ Walker, Cody Helms, and Jeremy; nieces and nephews, Aiden Sorrels, Jessica Sorrels, Carissa Sorrels, Addyson Robertson,and Joyce Robertson; Aunts and uncles, Kathey Hernandez (Gene), Mike Minor (Vicki), Connie Bahney (Jeff), Tina Minor, Kevin Miller (Carri), and Jennifer Bertin Havens; cousins, Cathy Minor (Richard Mason), Heather Minor, Danielle Minor, Kimberly Wiles, Joseph Wiles, Kacey Bahney, Lisa Minor (Lysander Vergara), Christie Cosnick (Todd), Anthony Hernandez, and Kevin Minor; Grandparents, Mary Helms, Ilo and Burt Bertin; and many other cousins who loved her very much.
