Bruce Edward Ricker, 67, of Gurley, died February 18, 2026. Bruce was born in Scottsboro to Albert and Boots.

He is survived by his brothers, Brian and Ron; mother Boots, step-son Ethan Hepler and mother-in-law Joy Hepler.

Bruce was married to Michael Hepler for 23 years until his death. He was a longtime wildlife rehabber and a volunteer for Meals On Wheels. He was a member of The Eagles Lodge for a number of years. He will be missed by his extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held for his cremated remains on Monday, February 23rd, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
