Carey Junior Luna, 89, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

He is preceded by his parents, Thomas and Callie (Delong) Luna; wife, Gail Luna; and siblings, Rosie Craig, Edna Petty, Milton Luna, Elizabeth Gates, Perry Green Luna, James E. (Joe) Luna, Shirley Berg, and Jessie Luna.

Mr. Luna is survived by his children, Dewayne (Melanie) Luna, Kimberly (Keith) Dalton, Tim (Barbara) Luna, and Kami (Kaleb) Wright; grandchildren, Zach (Kayla) Luna, Landon (Kiersten) Dalton, Haley (Bradley) Neal, Weston Avans, Will Avans, Bella Avans, and Britian Wright; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Luna, Harper Wilson, Elle Dalton, Turner Dalton, and Collins Neal.

Carey (Junior) Luna served his country in the U.S. Navy. Carey was a barber by trade for over 55 years, as well as a faithful member of Huntsville Holiness Church for over 55 years.

Visitation for Mr. Luna will be held on Sunday, October 20th, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Huntsville Holiness Church. A second visitation will be held the following day, Monday, October 21st, from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M., with a service immediately following at 12:00 P.M. at Huntsville Holiness Church. Rev. Patrick Price will be officiating. Mr. Luna will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery.
