Carl Boyd Ferguson, Jr, age 73, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away September 23, 2025.

Carl was born on January 3, 1952, in Gadsden, Alabama, to Dr. Carl and Elizabeth (Betty) Ferguson.

He was a 1970 graduate of Butler High School and graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1974. Carl was retired, but most of his career was spent with the Northrop Grumman Corporation. Carl had many friends and enjoyed golfing and playing his guitars and banjo. He was an avid Alabama football fan and never missed a televised game, many of which he watched with one of his best friends, Lonnie Hayes.

He is survived by his sisters Cricket Wine and Duffy Ferguson, brothers-in-law Patrick Wine and Harvey Barker, and nieces Brandy Wine and Lauren Shinnick.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, October 25th at Big Ed's Pizza, 255 Pratt Ave. NE, Huntsville, AL, from 12:00 - 2:00 PM.
