Caroline Carter Fanning, 75, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital.

She was born on April 3, 1950 to John Thomas Carter and Liza Carter. She was a resident of Huntsville Alabama. Caroline had an adventurous and free spirit! She loved people and life. But first and foremost, she loved God. Caroline wasn't afraid to show this strong love for her Lord through witnessing and prayer for others. Caroline was also a fighter and survivor, twice overcoming breast cancer and life long injuries sustained from a tornado.

Caroline is survived by her son, John Keith Williams, her sisters, JoAnn Hilliard and Tammy Edwards, and her brother, Charles Carter. She also has three loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother as well as her sister, Mary Harper.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 11th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home.  Service will follow at 2:00 with Rev. James Houston Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Fowkles Cemetery.
