We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Celina Dawn Frizzell on August 26, 2025. She lived for 46 years leaving behind the most cherished memories that touched the hearts of anyone who knew her.

She was the most perfect mother to her two girls, Mia Isabella Fowler (20), and Viola Mae Frizzell (10). She was engaged to her partner of 9 years, Timothy Cole Lumley. Her immediate family included her parents, Linda (76) and Rick (77) Montgomery, and her siblings, Jennifer Marshall (52), Mary Harmon (50), Robert Montgomery (44), and Chris Montgomery (42).

Celina was passionate about her career as an English teacher at Sparkman's 9th Grade Academy. She adored each of her students and showed them unwavering compassion. Celina was pursuing her final degree, a Master of Education in Differentiated Instruction. She was committed to furthering her education in order to provide her students with all the knowledge she could.

Celina did everything in life for her daughters ensuring there was never a doubt of love. She consistently put Mia and Viola's needs above her own, so they always had everything they needed and more. Celina frequently reminded them of their value to her saying, "you girls are my world".

She was the most selfless person anyone could know. No matter who it was, Celina wanted everyone to feel loved, unwaveringly putting others above herself. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and always wanted to be with them. Celina enjoyed binge-watching shows and movies with her family while sharing a "sweet treat." She found joy in opening the back door to listen to the rain and in doing yard work. Her most cherished time of year was the holidays, when she would spend time with her family and decorate with them.

As we celebrate Celina's life, please join us for her memorial service at Berryhill Funeral Home on August 30th at 9:30AM to remember her and share sweet memories.
