Charles Quinton Lewter, 45, of Madison, Alabama, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama on Thursday, June 19, 2025 with visitation beginning at 3pm and service beginning at 4pm.

Born in Huntsville, Alabama on August 5, 1979, Quinton was the first child of his parents, and first grandchild to be welcomed to the Upton and Lewter families. He graduated from Bob Jones High School in Madison, Alabama in 1997. He excelled in baseball and played for both Liberty Middle School and Bob Jones High School teams amongst other local teams. Quinton enjoyed watching Alabama football, baseball, church, music, playing card games, hunting and fishing, training his Labrador Retriever "Trapper", firearms, and automobiles, most notably his beloved white H2 Hummer. Quinton spent many years working in security, earning Sgt. in Internal Intelligence Special Service. He became an entrepreneur in his early 30s with a successful lawn care business. He was passionate about taking care of the elderly and removing the burden of lawn care from their chores and brightening their days.

He is survived by his parents, James Douglas Lewter and Helen Upton Lewter; his sister and brother-in-law, Kaitlyn Lewter Vanderwill and Joshua Vanderwill; his grandfather, James Calvin Lewter; Aunts and Uncles, Bobby Upton, Timothy Upton, Tina and Carl Tedder, Anna and Jim Ossip, Sid and Lisa Lewter; Cousins, Jessica, Kansas, Travis, Tiffany, and Hannah; and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Tillman and Evelyn Upton, and Susie Lewter.

Quinton will be remembered for his practical knowledge, his unwavering integrity, perseverance, and unconditional love for his family and friends. His laughter, wit, and wisdom were gifts to those that knew him.

His family invites you to celebrate his life at Berryhill Funeral Home at 2305 North Memorial Parkway in Huntsville, Alabama on Thursday, June 19, 2025 with visitation beginning at 3pm and service beginning at 4pm.
