Charles Edward Stephens, 83, of Huntsville, loving husband and father, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at South Hampton Nursing Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, B.G. and Annie Bell Gold Stephens and his daughter, Pam Bingham.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Lowrie Stephens; daughters, Loraine Puryear and Laura Wilson; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charles and Sandra are longtime members of Briar Fork Primitive Baptist Church in Hazel Green where he will be interred.

Charles had many great friends and acquaintances, some being lifelong friends while others were newcomers.  He was very well liked and respected.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 28th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 noon at Briar Fork Primitive Baptist Church in Hazel Green.  Memorial service will be at 12:00 with Bro. Kilmer Hall officiating followed by a graveside service.
