Charles Edward Terrell, age 74 of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on March 14th, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He was the first baby born of the year in Madison County, Alabama, on January 1, 1951, to the late JW and Wilma Terrell. During his life, Charles was employed by Glidden Paint and retired after 25 years of service. He later worked alongside his wife at M&T Wallcovering. Charles enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, cheering on the University of Alabama, and being with his family.

He is survived by his loving bride of fifty years, Shelia Terrell; his daughter Dee (Kenn) Hommerding and son Charlie (Shelley) Terrell; his grandchildren Corey Hommerding, Katelyn Payne, Tyler (Hannah) Hommerding, Maddie Payne, Caroline Terrell, and Lili Terrell; great-granddaughter Lela Mae Hommerding; brother David (Wanda) Terrell.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place the following day, Wednesday, March 18th, beginning at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Lon Ostrzycki and Rev. Ron Wood officiating. Burial will take place at Neal's Chapel Cemetery.
