Christopher "Chris" Bowman was born July 26th, 1988 in Wiesbaden, Germany to Judy Bowman. He spent much of his childhood being raised in Madison, Alabama with his Aunt and Uncle who he lovingly referred to as "Mom and Dad". He was also raised in Hayes, Kansas for part of his adolescence. He attended Bob Jones High School but graduated in Hayes, Kansas in 2006 for his senior year. Chris enjoyed being with his friends and participating in coding and gaming tournaments.

He is survived by his biological mother, Judy, his mom and dad, Sherry and John Dougherty, and sister, Nicole. He leaves behind many loved ones and friends, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Instead of a funeral service there will be a memorial service held in July for those wishing to pay respects.
