Christopher Gordon Lawless, 43, born November 8, 1982, at Medical Center Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama, died August 8, 2026, after a long battle with heart and lung disease aggravated by pneumonia and bronchitis.

He attended Whitesburg Elementary and Middle School and Grissom High School. He earned his degree in Computer Information Systems Technology from Drake State.  After graduation, he began repairing computers and building high-speed computer gaming systems.  Christopher had many interests, including riding and working on motorcycles, lifting weights, and creating LED light art. In his youth, he loved all sports and played baseball, soccer, football, and ice hockey.

Christopher was one of the sweetest people you could ever hope to know. He loved everyone and cherished his dear friends and family.

Christopher was preceded in death by his cousin Sarah Beth Cole, his maternal grandparents Ray and Nannette Smith, and his paternal grandparents Gordon and Buzz Lawless. He is survived by his mother, Sara Smith Lawless, father Kirby Gordon Lawless, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, August 29th at 2:00 pm at the family home.
