Christopher Michael "Mike" Maloney, 67, died at his home on Rhett Avenue in Huntsville, the same home he grew up in from 4th grade through high school, which he moved back into in December and remodeled. Izzie, Mike's most recent in a long line of standard poodles, was at his side. He is predeceased by his life partner of 22 years, Scott Young. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Cheryl Maloney.

Mike was a licensed realtor in Huntsville for 40 years until his medical retirement in 2024. He is fondly remembered (usually) for his biting sense of humor and willingness to share his thoughts and opinions at any time with anyone.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. One may wish to make a donation to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society or New Leash on Life of Huntsville.
