Constance Lynette Harris-Bunker, better known as Connie, 62, of Rainsville, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026. She was a graduate of Marion County High School.

Connie also deeply loved the Gulf Coast. She loved the salty air, the relentless heat of the sun, the sound of waves rolling onto the shore, and nighttime swims in the Gulf. There was something about being near the water that called to her, and the coast remained a place she returned to and loved throughout her life.

She had an enormous desire to make holidays feel magical, especially for the people she loved. Connie had a gift for welcoming people into her home and making an occasion feel special. She loved preparing food, creating beautiful spreads, and filling a table with the little details that made people want to gather around it. Whether it was a holiday, a celebration, or simply time spent together, she knew how to create an experience and make a home feel full.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Bunker, and parents, Jim Harris and Lynne Wellberg.

No services are planned. Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
