Cynthia (Cindy) Parton of Ringgold, Georgia passed away January 18, 2023 at the age of 61.

She is preceded in death by her mother Judy Colvard and father Boyd Thomas.  Cindy is survived by daughters Amanda (Jason) Lawler and Amy (Jarred) Edmondson; sisters Rita Cantrell, Janice Kidwell; brother Glen Thomas; grandchildren Alyssa (Matthew) Brown, Emma Leverrett, Ethan Inman, Hayden Inman, Pyper Edmondson, and Chandler Edmondson.

Cindy was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever she went. She loved to take care of and help others in any way she could.  Providing acts of service was a meaningful way she showed love.  Cindy loved to cook and no one ever left her kitchen hungry.  Everything she touched was made better through the love she expressed in her service to others whether it was repairing a garment or feeding her flock.  She enjoyed attending church at Southwood Presbyterian Church, reading books, making random trips to Target, working puzzles and most of all caring for her fur babies: Pepper, Emily, Eddie Ray, and Oakley.

To honor her memory, we are holding a celebration of life January 28, 2023 at Berryhill Funeral home from 1:00-3:00 CT.  We invite anyone who knew her to attend and remember her wonderful life.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the animal rescue shelter "A New Leash on Life" in her honor.
