We mournfully announce the passing of Ms. Cindy VaResa Powe, who was born on September 8, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama. She grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, and lived in Madison, Alabama, until her passing. Cindy departed this life peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 11, 2026, at the age of 46.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Leo Prince Powe, and her brother, Mr. Melvin Eugene Powe. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mrs. M. Frances Powe; her sister, Dr. Holly V. Powe; her nephew, Solomon Fleming; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on September 26, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Faith Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3913 Pulaski Pike, Huntsville, AL 35810. Pastor Hank Mays, Sr. will preside. The family will receive visitors at the church one hour prior to the service.

Cindy will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
