David Webster Brewer, 78, passed away on June 15, 2025. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He married Reba in January 1969 in San Francisco, CA. David spent 26 years in the United States Army, where he started out working on radars, then working on Nike Hercules and the Patriot defense missiles. He was NCOIC of the Patriot School where they taught air defense missiles at Fort Bliss, Texas. He was instrumental in writing the first lesson plans for the Patriot Missile. His last tour in Germany he inspected the different Patriot Missile units within Germany. David's time in the US Army sent him to the Presidio of San Francisco, CA, three tours at Fort Bliss, TX, two tours in Germany: Baumholder and Giebelstadt, and Pyeongtaek, S. Korea. David finished his fulfilling career as a Master Sergeant. David had a love of gardening, most impressive was getting sunflowers to grow in the desert of El Paso, TX. He loved to show his grandchildren what he was growing and often getting them excited to assist. He was an avid Steelers fan and crossword puzzle addict, which he had to do before anyone could read the newspaper.

David is survived by his wife, Reba, his younger brother Timothy, children: Teena, Stephanie, and Terrance; 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson and one great grandson.

Visitation will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL on Saturday June 21, 2025 visitation will be from noon to 2pm, service will begin at 2pm, followed by a procession to Huntsville Memory Garden, where he will be laid to rest with full military honors.
