Deborah Deen Jones, 76, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at her home in Huntsville, Alabama. She was known to her family and friends as "Dee Dee". She was surrounded by family, friends, and her faithful fur baby of 13 years, Beethoven.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Pat Jones (Vivian) and Chris Jones; grandchildren, Nicolas Jones, Ryan Jones, and Summer Jones; nephew, Bryan Landes; and niece, Megan Landes (Rocko).

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Jerome Landes and Betty Marie Landes, and her brother, Michael Landes.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Catholic Church and attended Our Lady Queen of the Universe in Huntsville, Alabama. She received her education and raise her sons in Huntsville as well. Her work with the government required her to hold various positions in different locations around the world until she retired in 2010. At the time of her retirement, she held the position of FMS Case Manager and Program Analyst. She was stationed at the Patuxent Naval Aviation Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) in Maryland. She traveled to many countries to present discussions and negotiations as a representative of USN/PMA for foreign military sales.

Mrs. Jones had many varied interests that she enjoyed through the years. Her love of Corvettes, racing, and owning them followed her through her lifetime and provided her with many friends. She also enjoyed boating at the local lakes, camping, going to the beach, riding with friends on their Harleys, traveling, and Alabama football. She had many friends wherever she was and enjoyed having many extended family members.

Mrs. Jones was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2022. She fought a long and difficult battle with the disease. Clearview Cancer Institute and Dr. L. Katragadda were diligent in the battle. North Alabama Hospice and their dedicated personnel aided in her care and support. Her family and extended family were with her continually during this time.

Visitation for Mrs. Jones will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 3:00-5:00 PM. There will be no service. We ask that you bring your memories and join in our remembrance of "Dee Dee". A private graveside burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
