Delores Hopkins Countess, 79, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Countess; a son Jeffrey Countess; a sister Joann Gaye and a brother Stevie Hopkins. Mrs. Countess was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County. She was a longtime participant of the Presbyterian Organization and member of the Meridianville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Countess of Cedar Park, Texas, and her son, Larry Countess (Angie) of Huntsville, Alabama. Visitation will be Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 11:00am until 12:30pm at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a chapel service at 12:30pm with Pastor Keith Lorick officiating. Burial will follow at Huntsville memory Gardens. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
