Donald Lee Long, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, born March 10, 1954, passed away on December 10, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Don was born in Bridgeport, Alabama, and spent his life working hard and caring deeply for those around him. He retired from Dunlop Tire Co., where he was known as a dedicated, steady, and reliable worker who always found a way to make others smile.

Above all, Don loved his family. He was the proud father of three children: Emily Long, Wesley Long, and Jonathan Long, 6 grandchildren: Tyler Long (Kelsey), Jon Shields, Jordan Long, Morgan Long, Ethan Long, Mason Long, and 1 great-grandchild, Lottie Mae Long, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sherry Lynn Long, and his mother, Rosie Staggs, whom he cherished deeply.

Don will be remembered for his quiet strength, his gentle humor, and his unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed and forever treasured.

A private celebration of life will be held for family and close friends.
