Donna Jean Foster (Prichard), born February 23, 1944, in Van Wert, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home in Elkmont, Alabama, on April 27, 2025, at the age of 81, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born to William De'Arl Prichard and Treva Maxine Neubrecht, Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved siblings—James E. Prichard, Kenneth N. Prichard, and Charlotte A. Klinger—and her devoted husband, Karl R. Foster.

A proud and loving mother, Donna is survived by her children: David C. Foster, Kent A. Foster (Lisa), Bradley D. Foster (Gina), Donna S. Hereford (Zack), and Sheila M. Foster. She was a cherished grandmother to Joshua B. Foster (Kim), Julie A. Warner (Jimmy), Brianna R. Long (Clay), and Lucas A. Foster. Donna was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her tremendous joy.

Devoted to her family, Donna was known for her warmth, generous spirit, and thoughtfulness. She had a sharp sense of humor and a deep love for life's simple pleasures—spending time with her family, diving into a good book, solving puzzles, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held for friends and family at Wooley Springs Baptist Church on Monday, May 5, 2025. Visitation at 4:00 pm with the service starting at 5:00.
