Dorothy Ann Tomme, 83, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on September 7, 2026

She is survived by her husband, Warren Tomme, of Huntsville, AL; four sisters, Kathy Mills of Sarasota, FL; Patsy (Bill) Michaels of Jacksonville, FL; Connie (Tom) Salliotte of Spring Hill, TN; and Eloise Goodwin of Alden, MI; her daughter Theresa (Greg) Smith of Huntsville, AL; her son, David Somerville of England; her stepdaughter, Victoria (Andrew) Wisner of Madison, AL; grandsons Tony (Meredith) Smith of Birmingham, AL; Martin (Crissey) Smith of Huntsville, AL; step-granddaughters Roxanne (James) Brown of Madison, AL; Lauren (Nathan) Haynes of Eva, AL; Jessica (Justin) Pohly of Huntsville, AL; and Michelle Tomme of Garden City, ID; and ten great-grandchildren.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her sister, Jean Ventress; her son, Steve Somerville; her stepson, David Tomme, all of Huntsville, AL; and her great-granddaughter, Esther Brown, of Madison, Alabama.

Visitation will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 9, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
